Naturism is a way of life in harmony with nature, characterized by the practice of communal nudity, with the intention of encouraging respect for oneself, respect for others and for the environment. 1)THE OFFICIAL INF-FNI DEFINITION OF NATURISM
Nudists generally want to be nude as much as possible; be it at home, in a garden, on a beach, etc.
Naturists generally want to be nude in nature, connecting with it in the purest, most human (naked) form. Sunbathing, hiking, swimming and doing sports are very popular things to do for naturists (and nudists).
Naturists want to respect nature, to deviate as little as possible, to return as much as possible to natural inspiration and when it is essential to correct nature without falling into abuses and depredations.
In his book Living Naked:The Psychology of Naturism Descamps suggests
Naturism is practised in many ways: Marc Alain Descamps, in his study written in French, classified the types as: individual nudism, nudism within family, nudism in the wild, social nudism. Additionally, militant nudism, including campaigning or extreme naturists, is sometimes considered a separate category. 3) Wikipedia
