The American Nudist Research Library was founded in 1979 by Read and Jayne Schuster. 1)American Nudist Research Library Welcome It’s goal is to preserve the history of nudism in North America. The library is a respository collection rather than a circulation collection. Researchers and visitors visit ANRL to view its document collection instead of checking materials out. ANRL is located on the grounds of Cypress Cove Nudist Resort in Kissimmee Florida. The library is a recognized non profit 5013c organization. 2)Wikipedia: American Nudist Research Library
In 2015 ANRL began digitizing it’s collection scanning paper documents. There is also a project underway to link its digital collection with other naturist/nudist research collections across the country.
There are 4 nudist research libraries in the country: this one near AANR headquarters in Kissimmee, Florida; one near TNS headquarters in Oshkosh, Wisconsin; and 2 in California. There is a project underway to link their collections electronically for better sharing of resources.
