A man-made yellow fixture in the waters near Vancouver’s nudist beach is making waves among locals and in the research community.
Some Wreck Beach regulars recoiled when they first saw the 10-foot-tall structure appear near their beloved shores in February.
“Shock doesn’t even begin to describe it, but anger does,” said Judy Williams, of the Wreck Beach Preservation Society.
“They are messing with the viewscape that people come to this city to see.”
